Handcuffs in the Sand is a book from Sarasota, FL, about an explosive adventure through time in the 70s and 80s. Smart young, good-looking kids were caught up in the American Colombian Drug War. These beach kids, valedictorians and college graduates, teamed up with the fishermen and Florida locals to move some of the biggest weight this State has ever seen. Florida residents were oblivious to the boat loads, literally, of weed being brought time to time.

EPISODE DESCRIPTION
Greetings Great Americans! On this episode, we tackle the eternal question: how to balance justice and mercy? With some words from Shakespeare, and an interview with a former Columbian drug dealer who "got God and got right," we reinforce the Judeo-Christian value that "all have sinned and fallen short of the grace of God" - and also that "God desires that all should come to him, no matter their past sins." Check out my guest's (Katherine West-Penkwitz) autobiography Handcuffs in the Sand. Keep on supporting small businesses, and we'll see you on the airwaves!
